M.K. England, author of The Disasters, is a Charlottesville-area YA librarian, a space advocate, and the biggest nerd ever. She is often found drowning in fandom, rolling dice at the gaming table, or wishing she had planted less zucchini.

Carolyn Engelhard
Carolyn Long Engelhard is a faculty member in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the UVA School of Medicine and associate professor in both the School of Medicine and in the Frank Batten School of Public Policy and Leadership. She analyzes and monitors changes in health policy at the federal and state governmental levels and is creating educational videos on current health policy topics for MedPage Today, a national web-based news organization.

Talley English, author of Horse, grew up in Virginia, where she rode horses with her family. Talley feels that a connection with a horse is like a mirror for one’s own heart. She lives in Charlottesville, Virginia, with her daughter and some pets.
